Deepest Sympathies Ibukun |
March 1, 2012 |
Oz. An old friend and a very good man with a first-rate mind.
Our deepest sympathies Ibukun, to you and the kids.
And to Egbe, Enoma, your parents, family and everyone hurt by Oz's passing.
May God comfort you and may time heal the pain of the unthinkable.

Ibukun:
Our hearts go out to you and we lift you and the kids up in prayer. We pray that God gives you some peace and comfort in this difficult time, as only He can.
Osaze:
We will miss you. You were never anything but good to us, and it's hard to believe you're gone so soon. May your soul rest in perfect peace.
With love,
Kofi & Naana

Dear Osaze, may your dear soul find favour with our Maker and your loved ones be comforted by the loving memories that will definitely endure; and your very many accomplishments in a relatively brief but well-spent life. Amen.

Still in shock! |

Osaze! I can’t believe I am writing this .....Osaze!....hmmmm
No emails.....no phone calls from you....so no more Yvonne please get this and that done? This feels like a bad dream.
For the past 5 years I have been working closely with you, I have learnt a lot and I thank God for the opportunity.
I am so sad and confused, life really can be cruel, you were snatched off the earth rudely and at your prime.
I pray God grants you eternal rest and console your family and friends.
I pray your dreams and visions live on.
Rest well.

A terrible loss |
March 1, 2012 |
It may sound common place but Osaze came, and saw and conquered all and overcame all. He was exceptional. A man perhaps before his time. He did what it would take three lifetimes to achieve at 45. I always thought that here is a man who like me had similar roots who was almost larger than life with a formidable resume. He was like a beacon. A trailblazer. My thoughts are with his aged father, Prof. Osifo, the nicest man you could have ever met. You raised a man who will not be so easily forgotten. RIPP Osaze.

Condolences |

Osaze was a special guy, always positive, always thinking of the big picture, he tried to inject funds into my company at least 3 times, and we laughed about it again just over a week ago. Always Supportive, always ready to listen, always asking questions and for one who achieved so much so young he remained extremely humble. Condolences to Ibukun and the kids, May God Keep you all and all of this just fills me with sadness, he had so much more to give, to build this country of yours, he is already being missed.

My condolence |

Dear Osaze,
Our moments together in ISI and Unilag were not the 'daily pals' type, but as mates we had a friendship that was full of respect. I was deeply saddened when I heard the news and refused to believe it until another person mentioned it, which prompted me to search for the painful truth of the news. How could Osaze leave? Ironically, many still believed your birthday was February 29 as you led us to believe in ISI in those days; I only got to know when I called you exactly four years ago, and you told me it was not so; and of course we laughed about the joke. Hmmm...
My prayers are with Ibukun and the children. May they experience the arms of the True Comforter at this time! I trust God that the blessing upon you will remain upon your generations forever!
Osaze, we thank you for the life you lived; those you inspired, provided with jobs, heard their cry and helped to make a living... The impact will forever remain!
KOLA

Its a huge shock to learn that one of the shining lights of the financial sector has passed. An acknowledged professional and a great person. I pray that God gives succor to the family he left behind.
