Osaze.
All life is a transition and though we will miss you here, your journey continues in another place.
Our prayers are also with Ibukun, Adesuwa and Ehioze, no one knows the reasons for life. However, God will guide, protect and comfort you through your loss and beyond.
We thank God for the life you have had.

Osaze, it is still hard to believe you are no longer with us. You – more than anyone else – molded my professional life. You were a phenomenal boss and mentor. You defied the conventional wisdom about what was possible to dream and achieve; you led by example with passion, hard-work and integrity. You were also an amazing friend and role model – forever supportive and always providing perspective on what is most important (family and personal peace). Thank you for the legacy and inspiration.
Ibukun, thank you for sharing Osaze with us. May God continue to uphold and comfort you always. We continue to pray for you and the children.
Love,
Danladi & Olu

Osaze, what can I say! First - Thank you! You brought me back to Nigeria and for that, I will be forever grateful. Next - I'm sad, sad that you've gone so soon, and that you've left my friend, Ibukun, the children, your parents and sisters at this time. But, I won't question God, but will thank him for your life and your exemplary achievements.
I remember the fun-loving Osaze back in the day, then I witnessed you become one of our country's greats in the financial services sector. I thank God to have known you.
You were a true gentleman and I've always known you to want nothing but the very best for Ibukun, Adesuwa and Ehiose. I remember when Ibukun was relocating you were so very meticulous in choosing a house for her and ensuring everything was just right and after working for you for two years I found this to be very typical Oz, demanding nothing short of quality.
Ibukun, I can't wipe your tears and promise to be with you all the time, but I can put my hand on my heart and say, I'll be here whenever you need me.

Such a shocking and untimely death... RIP Osaze
Ibukun i have not seen you in a while but i am thinking of you at this time
I will not insult you by trying to tell you that one day you will forget
i know as well as you that you will not
But at least, in time you will not remember as fiercely as you do now
and i pray that, that day may be soon.
may God in his infinite mercy give you, the children and all his loved ones strength at this time.
God bless you
Osaze!
Yield Curves, Deal Executions, Derivatives & Bond Funds...your forte and music to my ears whenever you discuss this area with so much aspiration for the future of Nigeria's capital market...
May God Almighty grant you eternal RIP. Amen.

Osaze, my adoption as your aburo was completely without fanfare, and took me entirely by surprise. I am truly thankful for having known you. You always gave the most honest counsel and from your advice, I made some of the best decisions of my life. You have left a void and I only hope that one day I will leave even half the impression in someone else's life as you did in mine. I will miss you popping your head round the door, each time you walked past my office, just to say hello and I will always remember thinking very single time, "...he didnt have to do that..." Rest in peace, Eloho Omame.

It seems like a dream !!! |
March 5, 2012 |
Oz,
As the days go by, it still seems like a dream i am hoping i will wake up from and realize it's not true. I still cannot reconcile watching you enter your car to leave the office on that faithful day only to hear the news of your passing the next. You were a pacesetter and a constant source of inspiration to we young folks, you constantly pushed us and made us understand that number 2 position was unacceptable. You constantly teased me and told whoever cared to listen about my love for shoes.
You were a game changer osaze and i will never forget after our first conversation how you delivered on the promises you made shortly after you joined. You set in motion what will tomorrow be an intersting investment banking story.
It is very painful and we want to get angry sometimes, we however, take solace in the fact that you are in a better place. My prayers are with your wife, kids, siblings and parents. I pray that affliction will not rise again!.
Good Night Boss.
